Medium red/purple in colour with juicy fruit aromas of red currant, plums and raspberries, complemented by savoury spice notes. It is light to medium in body with fresh acidity, a smooth texture and a short, pleasant finish. Best served slightly chilled!
Harvested by hand from two different vineyards in the Beamsville area. Destemmed with a short cold soak prior to start of fermentation. Macerated with the skins for nearly two weeks and gently pressed into neutral oak barrels for aging.
